Stephen Ministers

God’s Love in Action

There are times when everyone of us experiences difficulties in our lives, such as  loss of a loved one, cancer, hospitalization, disability, divorce, job loss, discouragement or loneliness.

Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who have received 50 hours of caregiving training to minister to persons experiencing difficult challenges, dealing with a crisis or going through a tough time.

Stephen Ministers meet with individuals on a one-on-one basis and with confidentiality. They listen, care, encourage, and support you in a Christian manner.

Our church is one of more than 10,000 Stephen Ministry congregations- from more than 100 denominations- worldwide. Since 1975, more than half a million Stephen Ministers have been trained, providing care to more than two million people in need.

If you need a Stephen Minister for yourself or someone you know, please contact Rev. Nancy J Kollhoff via email or at 785-776-8821

Scripture for Today

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” - 1 John:18 NIV
