Children’s Day Out
Children’s Day Out (CDO) is a Christian program that provides a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Age appropriate activities are planned to encourage creativity, self-expression & interaction with peers.
For the upcoming 2012-13 school term, CDO will be offered on one or two days/week from 9:00 – Noon or 9:00 – 2:30. Children who are 12 months by September 1 through 2 years old are eligible to attend one day/week on Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday. Children who are 2 1/2 (birthday before March 1) – 3 years old are eligible to attend 2 days/week on either Mon/Wed or Tues/ Thurs. Children who stay until 2:30 bring their lunch and have lunch and nap/rest during the afternoon. Toddlers must be table food ready and walking independently. Children who are toilet training and younger must bring their own disposable diapers, wipes and a change of clothing each week.
The term of enrollment is from September-May. Fall semester starts the week after Labor Day and goes to mid-December with Thanksgiving week off. Spring semester starts mid-January and ends mid-May with a week off in March for spring break. In case of inclement weather, CDO is not held if Manhattan public schools close.
Annual tuition is prorated over 9 months into equal monthly payments (see class options & fees). There are no refunds for missed sessions. A non-refundable enrollment fee of $50/child or $80/family is required when enrolling your child(ren). Tuition aid is available to those who qualify and must be applied for every year your child enrolls. Simply request information at the time of enrollment.
