Preschool & Children’s Day Out

preschool

First United Methodist Preschool and Children’s Day Out are weekday programs designed to promote the physical, social, mental, and spiritual development of the young child. Christian principles are woven into the fabric of every day and every interaction among children and adults. By recognizing parents as the primary faith givers and teachers of their young children, we join in partnership to help each child develop to his/her full potential. To enroll or to schedule a visit, contact Director Susie Olsen at 785-776-7030 or via our web form.

Children’s Sunday School

First United Methodist offers Sunday School for children ages 2 through high school. Babies and toddlers under two are encouraged to make use of our nursery, staffed with qualified, trusted nursery workers. Our Sunday School curriculum is carefully planned. Crafts, stories, activities, games, music, and dance are all standard parts of a Sunday morning. Kids are encouraged to come as they are and be ready to have fun together.

Scripture for Today

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” - 1 John:18 NIV
