Habitat for Humanity

The Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity, a Christian organization, in covenant with Habitat for Humanity International, seeks to establish a partnership between our community and God’s people in need. Our purpose is to provide decent, affordable, and environmentally sound housing for those persons for whom such aspirations might otherwise be impossible. The Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity recognizes the importance of providing participating families with an opportunity not only to improve their living conditions, but also to enhance their sense of self-worth, hope, and dignity through a partnership with a caring Christian community.
